Walters Winner Priceless
2004
Dudley Park Rangers |
2 v 5 | Queens Head Wednesbury |
Geoff Hill |
Stuart Hughes 3 |
Queens Head Wednesbury won the Clinton Cup after beating Dudley Park Rangers despite trailing to an early Geoff Hill goal.
A brace from Stuart Hughes and single strikes from Mark Pincher and Andy Thomas put them firmly in the driving seat but Rangers fought back and a John Flavell effort, his 42nd goal of the season, made for an exiting finale.
It was Hughes, however, that completed a memorable evening completing his hat-trick to polish off a fine performance.
